Although most business travelers have someone to arrange and manage travel reservations, be aware that you, as the traveler, are responsible for your own travel itinerary. It is not uncommon for travelers to board the wrong flight, travel to the wrong airport, or misunderstand a flight schedule.

If you routinely make changes in your reservations and itinerary prior to departure, it is critical to make a final confirmation of your travel plans with your ticket issuing airline or travel agency. Flight schedules are changed by airlines constantly; without notice. Make it a habit to review and confirm your reservations before each trip and question any changes or errors immediately.
