The reimbursement rate for use of a privately owned vehicle for university business is listed below:

Rutgers Policy Section 40.4.1, Paragraph I.5, provides that the mileage reimbursement rate for employees that use private automobiles on University business is the current mileage reimbursement rate established by the State of New Jersey." That rate, as of July 1, 2006 is $0.31 per mile.
